We are seeking a motivated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and support. The Front Desk Agent will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- 1. Check-in and Check-out
- Check-in: Greet guests upon arrival, confirm reservation details, and provide room keys or access cards.
2. Guest Services
- Answering guest inquiries about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Providing information about room features and ensuring guest satisfaction during their stay.
- Handling special requests, such as extra towels, room changes, or arranging transportation.
3. Reservations and Booking
- Managing reservations by phone, online, or in-person.
- Updating the hotel booking system to ensure rooms are available and properly assigned.
- Handling cancellations, no-shows, and modifications to bookings
4. Handling Payments
- Process payments for room stays, restaurant charges, and any additional services
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Ensure that all charges are billed correctly and in a timely manner.
5. Answering Phones
- Answering incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Directing calls to the appropriate departments or staff.
- Assisting guests with any phone-related inquiries, such as room service or housekeeping requests.
6. Problem Resolution
- Addressing guest complaints, concerns, or issues, and working to resolve them quickly and effectively.
- Offering solutions or compensation, such as room changes or discounts when necessary.
7. Guest Safety and Security
- Ensuring guests’ safety and security by monitoring access to rooms and maintaining a secure front desk area.
- Responding to emergency situations (e.g., medical emergencies or fires) and following appropriate protocols.
8. Record Keeping
- Keeping accurate logs of guest arrivals, departures, and room assignments.
- Ensuring that guest information is entered correctly into the hotel management system.
- Maintaining any necessary reports for hotel management (e.g., daily occupancy, revenue, etc.).
9. Administrative Tasks
- Managing guest requests for wake-up calls, mail delivery, or concierge services.
- Coordinating with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, maintenance, and room service) to ensure smooth guest experiences.
- Ensuring that the front desk area is well-organized, clean, and welcoming.
10. Upselling Services
- Promoting and upselling hotel amenities such as upgraded rooms, special packages, or additional services like spa treatments or dining options.
11. Multitasking and Communication
- Managing multiple tasks simultaneously, such as checking in guests while answering phone calls or coordinating with housekeeping.
- Maintaining clear and efficient communication with other hotel departments, ensuring guests' needs are met promptly.
The front desk team is often the first and last point of contact for guests, so providing excellent customer service and creating a positive guest experience is essential.

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
