Executive Assistant II - Washington, D.C.
QSI is seeking an Executive Assistant II to support our government client in Washington, D.C. The Executive Assistant II serves as the Executive Assistant to VO Office Directors, the Managing Director, Deputy Assistant Secretary, and other select VO leadership as determined by the VO / DO Director. They serve as a clerical expert in independently processing the most complicated types of office actions in support of their Government managers, reducing the number of administrative and support tasks their Government managers must do themselves. The Executive Assistant II may be asked to evaluate and consolidate information from various sources under short deadlines, such as internal or external survey information, reporting on statistics (retention, staffing, visa processing, etc.). Guidance is provided as needed; however, this person is expected to work independently in delivering tasks and reports as required by the Government management. Completed written work may or may not receive close technical review from high-level Government employees, and is expected to be clear, concise, and accurate regardless of review. The Executive Assistant II maintains confidential information (employee lists, management contact info, etc.). The Executive Assistant II must have strong judgement and discretion to be able to take on complex administrative tasks such as organizing seating arrangements and managing non-inherently governmental programs. A Government manager will provide day-to-day oversight and direction.
