Job Title- Commercial Lines Account Assistant
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Commercial Lines Account Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to individuals in the department to facilitate excellent client service.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
1. Responsible for providing administrative support to the department as requested or assigned.
• Perform certificate preparation.
• Order loss runs as requested for renewals and new business.
• Attach various transactions to customer’s files to include various schedules, update specifications and assist with Electronic Filing of policy files.
• Print ID cards at renewal and for new business.
• Order Motor Vehicle Reports (MVR) as requested for renewals and new business.
• Maintain Activity functions in Agency Management System.
• Process Interim Audit Letters to send to clients.
• Process Workers’ Compensation Monthly Reports.
2. Responsible for ensuring timely communication with all relevant parties
• Notify Account Managers or Department Manager of any problems or concerns of which they should be aware.
3. Responsible for obtaining knowledge of coverage availability and policy contracts through industry and carrier communication and education.
4. Fulfill other job requirements as assigned.
