JOB TITLE: DOE Program Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly experienced and relationship-driven Program Manager to oversee and cultivate strategic partnerships with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of experience in program management, stakeholder engagement, and federal client relations, particularly with DOE. This hybrid position requires regular travel to client and partner sites in and around Las Vegas, NV.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and key DOE stakeholders, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships.
- Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of DOE-related programs to ensure alignment with mission objectives, regulatory requirements, and contractual commitments.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet project goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Proactively identify and resolve program risks, issues, and bottlenecks in collaboration with DOE representatives and internal teams.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of DOE policies, procedures, and priorities to effectively support client missions and program initiatives.
- Represent the organization at DOE meetings, briefings, and site visits throughout the Las Vegas, NV area.
- Draft reports, presentations, and briefings for executive leadership and federal partners.
- Support proposal development, contract negotiations, and compliance tracking related to DOE-funded projects.
What You’ll Bring:
- 10 years of experience in program management with a strong focus on federal government relationships, including significant engagement with the Department of Energy.
- Proven ability to build and sustain professional relationships with senior-level government officials and internal stakeholders.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of DOE operations, program expectations, and federal acquisition processes.
- Ability to travel regularly to local DOE sites in Las Vegas, NV.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in public administration, business, engineering, or related field preferred.
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
- DOE Q Clearance is preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with national laboratories, DOE program offices, or energy/environmental initiatives.
- Experience supporting programmatic efforts involving regulatory compliance, research initiatives, or infrastructure modernization.
- Strategic thinking with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
