What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Coordinator position at Quanta Manufacturing Nashville, LLC?
Position Summary:
Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department; plan and execute employee events – quarterly appreciations, annual Holiday events, Town Halls, visitor/client lunches, etc; assist with orientation, payroll processing, non-exempt recruitment and maintenance of employee records.
Essential Functions:
- Plan and execute Employee Events – Holiday lunches, company wide appreciations, Annual Holiday Party, Quarterly Town Halls, Physical Inventory meals,
- Create and post company wide communications on company tv monitors, bulletin boards, and communication notice boards in each building;
- Assist with maintaining employee records in paperless system;
- Under Sr. HR Manager direction, maintain seating chart and assignments in all buildings;
- Partner with Recruiter, HR Generalists, IT and Facilities to ensure new hire work space has all equipment needed, is clean and ready for use;
- Maintain supply of drinks and snacks for HR Meetings;
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Minimum one (1) year experience in an HR department in a manufacturing environment preferred;
- Minimum one(1) year experience planning events in a multi-site facility preferred;
- Proficient in MicroSoft office products;
- Experience with HRIS systems preferred;
- Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- This is a FULLY ONSITE position; mut be able to report onsite daily.
- Transportation to travel between buildings throughout the day required.

- Computer literate in a Windows environment.
- Strong written and spoken English skills; bilingual in Spanish preferred.

- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to distinguish between colors.
- Ability to bend, stoop, stand/sit for prolonged periods, move about office, production and warehouse facilities.
- Ability to travel between buildings.
