Quantico Tactical is seeking a Contract Support Specialist in our corporate office. You will work from our corporate headquarters and provide support to our government sales team. Ideal candidates are committed, enthusiastic and have customer service or sales experience. Attention to detail, accuracy, problem solving skills and the ability to communicate precisely are an absolute must. We are looking for team members who want to grow with us and who desire a long term career.
This position is located from our corporate HQ in Aberdeen, NC and cannot be done remotely.
Duties:
- Partner with Account Managers to identify customer needs and become a solutions provider
- Prioritize tasks based on customer and team needs while managing multiple concurrent requests and staying organized
- Build relationships with customers, government support agents and suppliers
- Provide exceptional customer service to government purchasers; both military and federal
- Manage multi-year blanket purchase agreements with regards to items, pricing, delivery lead time, kitted orders and all other contractual requirements
- High level order management involving multiple layers of data entry
- Research products and prepare customer quotes
- Follow-up across all areas of the process to ensure proper delivery of orders and customer satisfaction
- Effectively communicate via phone, email and in group meetings with customers, vendors, peers and management
Skills / Knowledge:
- Successful candidates have the ability to operate across multiple computer screens and programs simultaneously
- Must be process and procedure driven with a sense of urgency
- Only detail oriented people who can multi-task will succeed
- A knack for negotiation and networking
- Solid judgment along with decision making skills
- Strong leadership capabilities with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Knowledge and interest in the firearm and tactical industry
Qualifications:
- 3 Years of customer service
- 3 Years experience in Microsoft Office environment with emphasis on Excel
- Competitive, challenge-oriented self-starter
- Prior military or federal agency experience a plus
- Experience with government procurement a plus
- Successful completion of a drug screening test and background check required
