Job Description
Wing Medical Logistics Support is responsible for the efficient and effective flow of medical supplies and resources to support the wing's medical mission. This includes tasks like inventory management, storage, and distribution of medical equipment and supplies, ensuring that healthcare providers have the resources they need.
Qualifications
- Assist in determining the appropriate items, quantities and frequency of re-supply for all medical equipment under the responsibility of the 492 SOW.
- Prepare requests for equipment, supplies, and services, as needed.
- Travel up to two times per week between Hurlburt Field, FL and Eglin AFB to pick up medical supplies and equipment.
- The contractor shall maintain the supply and equipment accounts for two expense centers, one at Eglin Air Force Base (AFB) and one at Hurlburt Field, which requires travel between bases to pick up supplies and equipment.
- Conduct inventory of operating supplies and equipment as needed.
- Coordinate deployment of War Reserve Materiel (WRM) and report accountability of WRM in support of deployments and exercises, as necessary.
- Maintain accountability of all equipment on record IAW AFI 23-111 and create and ensure a predefined, schedule of maintenance is followed /executed in coordination in with host Medical Treatment, Medical Equipment Maintenance Office.
- Turn in all medical equipment affected by recalls as documented in DMLSS.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Three (3) Yrs Demonstrated experience in accountable and non-accountable medical supplies and equipment processes IAW Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 41-209, Med Log Support.
- Must have a working knowledge of the Defense Med Log Supply System (DMLSS).
- Current SECRET security clearance
Additional Information
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to work on Government contracts.
- Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
