CNC Machinist Job Description
This role is perfect for an experienced CNC Machinist who can work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, be able to multitask, and maintain attention to detail.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machining centers.
- Determining and setting up in-process inspection at the machine side.
- Completing first-article inspection when required.
- Collaborating with management and engineering teams to optimize machining processes and improve production efficiency.
Job Requirements
- 3 and 4th axis experience is mandatory.
- 5th axis experience is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient in operating and programming CNC machines.
- Ability to create cutter paths by programming in G&M-code and/or CAD/CAM.
- Experience with a variety of machining materials and tools.
- Ability to create fixtures and work-holding jigs.
