Job Description:
Queen Wood Products is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable and Payable Specialist to join our team in Allendale, SC. This position involves managing accounts, assisting with daily inventory and production tracking, and performing general office duties to support the efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Management:
- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile invoices, payments, and statements.
- Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing and payment inquiries.
Inventory & Production:
- Track daily inventory levels and production output.
- Ensure accurate data entry for inventory records.
- Assist with inventory audits and reporting.
- Coordinate with production teams to verify stock levels and product availability.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts or production data.
General Office Duties:
- Answer phones and manage correspondence.
- Maintain organized filing systems, including digital and paper records.
- Prepare and distribute reports, memos, and other documents as needed.
- Support management with scheduling and meeting coordination.
- Monitor office supplies and coordinate reorders as necessary.
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, or vendors in a professional manner.
Compliance & Accuracy:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts and inventory.
- Double-check documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with other departments to address discrepancies or issues in financial or operational data.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Prior experience in accounts receivable/payable or related field (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
