Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist
SC Regional Housing Authority No.3 has a great opportunity for a part-time, skilled accounts payable/receivable specialist. The AP/AR specialist will be responsible for maintaining the Authority's accounts payable and accounts receivables to ensure the daily accounting functions run efficiently and in collaboration with other internal departments.
Some of the other duties include :
- Updating and maintaining records of expenditures
- Sending out payments for company credit cards
- Responding to vendor invoices
- Ensuring that all payments are made in accordance with company policy
- Prepare and process weekly check runs
- Ensuring that all payments are sent on time and checks are properly distributed
- Resolving payment discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the company
- Manages various outgoing bills and invoices on behalf of the company, which might include utility payments, product or inventory invoices, employee expense accounts ,contractors expenses and reimbursements.
An Associate’s degree in accounting with 2 to 5 years’ accounting experience is preferred.
