The Position
The Cash Applications Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily cash applications processes, including application of incoming payments to customer accounts, reduction of unapplied cash, prompt and accurate response to customer inquiries and ensuring that the bank statements and Zuora, our system of record, remain aligned. There are two teams within cash applications that the manager will be responsible for : the bank reporting team, which is responsible for applying incoming EFT, lockbox and credit card payments against the correct customer invoices, and the customer support team, which is responsible for responding to customer inquiries via a Salesforce case management system. The cash applications team is also responsible for the reduction of unapplied cash, and the timely return of customer funds in connection with incorrect or over-payments. In performing his / her duties, the Cash Applications Manager will need to be proficient at leading teams, collaborating across other cross-functional teams within Quench, appropriately researching and resolving customer escalations, reconciling and balancing the team’s daily processing against the bank records, evaluating and implementing continuous improvement opportunities and identifying gaps and recommending solutions.
