Payroll Coordinator

Our client located in Dunwoody/Perimeter area is looking for a Payroll Coordinator to join their growing organization

6 Month Contract

$28 - $30/hr

Location: Dunwoody, GA

Will work in Office 5 days/week during training period and then move to hybrid schedule 3 days in office/2 days WFH

As the Coordinator of Payroll and HRIS, you will compile payroll data and statistics to maintain records and to calculate payroll for RNA USA. Review and record in the system, all new hires, pay rates and changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance coverage, and direct deposits.

Responsibilities:

• Process new hires, separated employees, increases, garnishments, direct deposits, advances, tax changes and various loans as approved.
• Complete generations of payroll wage and hours, including overtime and part-time, from exception and overtime reports of all departments and out port locations.
• Calculate vacation time to be paid out for term employees.
• Export overtime and part-time hours into payroll system.
• Update employees’ job record and changes of employment status, as necessary.
• Issue manual checks when needed.
• Audit the sequence transaction report prior to transmission.
• Prepare and transmit payroll.
• Receive and translate files once payroll is processed.
• Reconcile change notices against check register.
• Verify payroll accuracy upon receipt of register.
• Download and import Custom G/L files for the SAP finance department.
• Initiate journal entries for wire transfers to fund payroll.
• Assist in year-end and beginning of the year processes.
• Assist with overseeing databases, software, and computer systems including analyzing the HRIS system (UKG).
• Assist in monitoring performance and assist in resolving issues and answering team member inquiries.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in payroll processing
• Working knowledge of payroll systems; preferably the HRIS system UKG.
