We are looking for an energetic, organized, self motivated individual who has experience running a beverage program in a face paced, high-end, environment.
This position is responsible for some of the most important tasks to ensure the success of our beverage program. It offers the ability to work with clients and as part of our event team and to drive the success of our events through the smooth execution of beverage services. You will be responsible for producing bespoke menus for each client using the highest quality local ingredients, when possible.
This position is key in ensuring that events are executed to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
- Work with the bar and event team to make sure all details are attended to leading up to and throughout the event. Be a liaison for guests and vendors during events.
- Manage bar seasonal staff to create an efficient & harmonious environment.
- Lead the team and play an active role in creating the strategic framework for the success of each client, from sales to execution. Leverage and help improve the planning process to achieve/exceed results, improve customer relationships with efficient execution.
- Maintain a rotating farm cocktail menu and work with clients to create a bespoke menu, using farm grown, seasonal goods wherever possible.
- Oversee bar inventory, ordering appropriate products as needed.
- Manage bar line items in the event budget. Balance products of good quality and value that fits within your set budget.
- Implement standard operating procedures around bar organization, set up, breakdown and restock
- Communicates unique event needs to staff.
- Lead, manage, engage, and provide long-term development guidance to direct reports, working to build a successful team.
Requirements
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of beverage program management, including staff and inventory management.
- Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with team members and guests.
- Take initiative & direction to produce thorough, efficient work.
- Work various hours including nights and weekends as the schedule dictates.
- Process cash and credit transactions through POS system.
- Toast POS experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, stooping, bending, carrying/ lifting up to 40 lbs, grasping, reaching, working in the heat of the summer.
- TIPS Certified.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
