Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Feed Logistics Coordinator to play a vital role in coordinating and optimizing the logistics of delivering 25-ton loads of bulk livestock feed to farmers. This position requires excellent communication skills to interact with customers, suppliers, and truckers, ensuring efficient and timely deliveries. As we continue to grow, the successful candidate will be instrumental in scaling our operations to eventually deliver 40-80 semi loads per week. This is an in office position. Hours will be 8-5.

Responsibilities:

• Customer and Trucker Communication:
• Maintain regular communication with customers and truckers to understand delivery needs, preferences, and any specific requirements.
• Provide timely updates on delivery schedules, estimated arrival times, and potential delays to ensure a smooth and reliable delivery process.
• Inventory Management and Supplier Communication:
• Daily communication with suppliers to monitor inventory levels and pricing for various feed products, including distillers products, soyhull products, gluten products, and more.
• Collaborate with the management team to make informed decisions regarding purchasing and pricing strategies based on inventory availability and cost-efficiency.
• Order Fulfillment and Product Diversity:
• Coordinate with the warehouse and loading teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders, aligning with delivery schedules.
• Manage and market a diverse range of feed products, including salvage feeds like corn screenings, rice products, ground peanut hulls, gin trash, salvage coffee grounds, and more.
• Issue Resolution and Problem-Solving:
• Address any delivery-related issues promptly and effectively, working closely with customers, truckers, and internal teams to find appropriate solutions.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to enhance operational efficiency and meet delivery targets.
• Record Keeping and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, customer interactions, inventory status, pricing trends, and other relevant metrics.
• Generate regular reports on delivery performance, inventory levels, pricing analysis, and customer feedback to optimize operations.
