What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Associate position at R. B U'Ren Equipment Inc?
JOB DUTIES:
Secure parts from various suppliers for our equipment and customers equipment
Assist customers and our technicians in a polite, friendly and professional manner whether in person or on the phone
Prepare requisition forms, purchase orders and invoice(s)
Order and track parts
Answer telephone and receive orders by phone or email
Resolve customer problems and answer questions
Daily audits of open purchase orders
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Complete transactions on Point of Rental and perform basic tasks including, checking rates and availability, creating quotes, opening/closing work orders, emailing quotes/invoice to customer.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent GED is preferred but not required
Customer Service Aptitude
Strong Telephone skills
Computer Skills
Effective written and oral communication skills
Mechanical knowledge
One year parts industry experience required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
