What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at R Braun Inc.?
The Human Resources (HR) Generalist works closely with the HR Advisor and company Staff. Has responsibility for full cycle recruiting. Also participates & provides support for HR programs and tasks related to employee morale/relations, employee handbook interpretation and employment, benefits, training, safety, internal communications and general office duties. Must have excellent communication skills with potential employees, current employees, and management.
Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following:
- Responsible for recruitment, sourcing, interviewing job applicants, conducting background checks, scheduling drug screens and reviewing and ensuring appropriate paperwork is completed for new employees.
- Conducts new employee orientation
- Acts as an employee advocate
- Champions performance review process
- Assists in administering human resources policies and procedures
- Assists with Employee Handbook questions
- Assists managers with issues/performance problems/complaints
- Assist with Safety tracking and W/C administration
- Develop and disseminate internal employee communications
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
- Other office duties as assigned
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
