Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled IT Helpdesk Technician with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. The role requires a dynamic individual who can travel to client sites across the Boston area while supporting onsite and remote helpdesk tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laptop workstation setups and user onboarding as a primary function.
- Provide support for client office technology, including:
- A/V media rooms
- Wi-Fi and networking
- Printers and phones
- Level 1 Helpdesk triage and troubleshooting.
- Respond to Level 1 ticket requests as part of the helpdesk team, working under the Helpdesk Manager/Lead.
- Assist with Windows 11 upgrade support and rollout for laptops.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in IT helpdesk or related technical support roles.
- Technical Skills:
- Background in Windows (including Windows 11 rollout experience).
- Familiarity with MacOS workstation support.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with end users, including VIP executives, in a professional setting.
- Flexibility:
- Willingness to travel to client locations in and around the Boston area (Waltham, Cambridge, Boston).
- Hybrid work setup, allowing remote work when not required onsite.
Work Environment:
The position involves a mix of remote and onsite work, reporting to our offices in Quincy,MA when not on client visits.
