Key Responsibilities
As a Freight Forwarding Supervisor at Röhlig Logistics, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Imports and Exports departments. This includes:
- Coordination of imports and exports operations, including monitoring workflows and resource management.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including USA Customs/IATA/TSA and other governing bodies.
- Managing relationships with suppliers, customers, and overseas agents.
- Analysis of data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
You will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs, as well as providing leadership to your team and supporting the growth of the branch.
The ideal candidate will have six plus years of industry-related experience, a strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, and excellent communication and leadership skills.
