JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assists user community with the documentation and resolution of requests for service that originate (via phone, email, and online) with the Oakland County IT Service Desk. Coordinates assignment of requests with appropriate IT staff to ensure timely and effective resolution. ITIL certification preferred. Additional Service Center responsibilities and duties as required. The assignment requires candidate availability Monday through Friday, approximately 40 hours per week, hours 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. New hire will be trained on-site at Oakland County, then working remote approximately three days/week and on-site two days/week.
Environment:CA Service Desk, Microsoft Desktop OS, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat. Will be migrating to ServiceNow in 2025.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software and hardware issues, ensuring timely resolution for end-users.
- Manage computer systems and networks, including VPN and desktop support, to maintain optimal performance.
- Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing and tracking support requests while adhering to ITIL best practices.
- Assist in the configuration and management of Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance IT support processes and improve user experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.20 - $26.74 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
