Human Resources Manager Job Description
Due to rapid growth within our organization, we are hiring a Human Resources (HR) Manager. To be successful in this role, you must have strong interpersonal skills, be an active listener, demonstrate empathy, be willing to hold others and yourself accountable, and understand best practices for employment law and legal compliance.
This is a fast-paced work environment and the ability to multitask and prioritize is essential. Being detail-oriented, accurate, independent, and an analytical thinker will serve you well in this position.
Human Resources Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the process of recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new employees
- Creating job descriptions, posting jobs, and screening candidates
- Manage employee benefits programs and compensation packages ensuring they are competitive and compliant with industry standards
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, as well as internal policies
- Mediate disputes and direct disciplinary procedures
- Manage training and development programs
- Provide performance evaluations, manage employee performance, and create strategies for employee development
- Create metrics for employee performance that is documented and given to executive team
- Consult with top executives on strategic planning
- Draft policies, procedures, and reports
- Research market conditions for salaries and other benefits to confirm company is compensating at market rates
- Manage onboarding and offboarding process
- Maintain employee records and HR Documentation in compliance with legal requirements
Human Resources Requirements:
- College degree required
- At least 5 years of HR experience
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills
- Analytical thinker and detail oriented
- Ability to thrive working independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
