Rabe's Quality Meats Inc. specializes in custom beef further processing and portioning. Currently we have 160 employees the plant has the capability to process 2.5 million pounds of beef in a week. We pride ourselves in combining efficiency, quality and safety. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive, well rounded Sales Associate to join our team!
As a Sales Associate, the candidate will be passionate about the meat industry, possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, and have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. This position will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our range of high-quality meat products.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess satisfaction and gather feedback.
Sales Development:
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the meat industry.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to promote new products and offerings.
Product Knowledge:
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our meat products, including cuts, quality, and sourcing.
Order Management:
Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Coordinate with logistics and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate with customers about product availability.
Negotiation and Pricing:
Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to maximize profitability.
Reporting and Analysis:
Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends.
Prepare regular sales reports and present findings to the Exec team
Task Responsibility
Proven experience in meat sales or a related field.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of the meat industry, including cuts, processing, and market trends.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Bi-lingual is a plus.
Experience in WMS or ERP is a Plus

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
