Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Capital Markets Analyst to join our New York team. This position will support the company’s financing strategies, develop complex financial models, and contribute to capital structuring decisions in alignment with our renewable energy initiatives. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively across teams, including corporate finance, project development, and external stakeholders.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Monitor capital markets trends, interest rates, and relevant regulatory updates.
- Provide insights into investment opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models for capital structuring and project investments.
- Conduct sensitivity analyses and evaluate funding strategies.
- Assist in executing debt and equity transactions, including preparing pitch materials for investors.
- Support due diligence processes with a focus on renewable energy projects.
- Work closely with internal teams to align financial strategies with project goals.
- Manage relationships with banks, private equity firms, and institutional investors.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or a related field. CFA is a plus.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, or a corporate finance role focused on capital markets. Energy and Infrastructure are a plus.
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise. VBA is a plus.
- Strong understanding of capital markets instruments, including debt, equity, and tax equity.
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg Terminal.
- Experience in renewable energy financing is a strong plus.
