Radiology Business Solutions (“RBS”) is a leading radiology management and consulting company providing top-tier management and operational services to private radiology practices nationwide. RBS seeks a highly motivated Physician Recruitment Specialist to bolster our busy service to our nationwide network of private radiology practices. The physician recruitment specialist will work closely with the company’s Vice President of Physician Recruiting, RBS’ Senior Partners, and the individual radiology group practice leadership teams to develop and implement successful recruiting strategies. This is not a “fee for service” recruiting position but a dedicated in-house recruitment opportunity with a 20-year-old national management company. Exceptional orientation and training will be provided.
Work Schedule/Commitment
The Physician Recruitment Specialist position requires a full-time commitment to RBS. RBS is based in Southeast Michigan. Highly experienced candidates would be considered for remote work with some travel required.
Job Expectations and Requirements:
- Recruit radiologists for all RBS client practices.
- Confer with RBS and client group leadership to identify physician staffing needs.
- Prepare detailed job profiles, ensuring an understanding of position duties, responsibilities, and practice requirements.
- Prepare documentation for candidate processing, candidate presentation, and client communication.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with RBS management clients, outside vendors, and other organizations to create partnerships that yield success, predictable results, and credibility.
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates and potential leaders.
- Develop and maintain internal recruiting resources, which include targeted email and direct mail lists of potential candidates.
- Utilize online recruiting resources to identify and recruit the most qualified candidates.
- Develop creative marketing material for email, online ads, social media, and other mediums to attract quality candidates.
- Review all candidates’ CVs and credentials to ensure their skills, experience, and knowledge are appropriate for the position requirements.
- Provide complete, accurate information to candidates about the practice and position.
- Manage and coordinate communication with candidates.
- Interview and accumulate appropriate information and documentation regarding the candidate, their family, and their needs.
- Provide candidates with selected RBS pre-screening material for completion and return to RBS.
- Collect, organize, and document prescreening material and present it to RBS physician leadership for follow-up calls and referencing before selection for an on-site interview.
- Collect and maintain all referencing documentation provided by RBS referencing sources using approved processes.
- Manage the scheduling and logistics of all candidate interviews.
- Organize, lead, and document post-interview debrief/feedback with clients and candidates.
- Coordinate the extension of offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the client, RBS in-house counsel, and other team members.
- Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation for all candidates, searches, and other recruiting activities.
- Visit hiring clients' locations to develop a thorough understanding of the group culture and help candidates fully understand the opportunity.
- Learned, managed, and continued to develop the candidate database.
- Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
- Develop social media marketing and use all available marketing channels, including social media, podcasting, webinars, tradeshows, etc.
- Compile and maintain physician recruiting market data from other available positions for benchmarking and national standards.
- Ensure that all recruitment steps are followed, completed, and documented in the appropriate order and time frame.
- Support and exemplify the RBS mission, values, and customer service statements.
Qualifications/Education
- Bachelor’s or equivalent specialty medical training (radiological technologist, etc.)
- Experience in physician recruitment
- Preferred experience in radiology

Pay: $73,109.00 - $93,343.00 per year
