Responsibilities:
Essential:
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Upsky/Radisson standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
- Comply at all times with Upsky/Radisson standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Answer telephone and return calls.
- Attend Sales meetings and take minutes.
- Input data to database.
- Open and distribute email.
- Distribute leads and maintain lead log.
- Control P.O. and check requests.
- Control certificates.
- Maintain Cross Sell report.
- Administer monthly Market Share report.
- Handle all outgoing emails/mail for the department.
- Maintain Lost Business log.
- Order office supplies.
- Assist with Group Room Nights report.
- Maintain function book.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective product positioning and marketing campaigns
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capture market share
- Assist Director of Sales with appropriate reports and special projects.
- Entertain clients.
- Maintain strong visibility in local community organizations
- Attend all required meetings.
- Other duties as required.
Experience:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of sales principles and techniques
- Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
