About the Role
This position involves operating PET scanners and related equipment, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and providing excellent patient care. You will work closely with radiologists to assist with imaging and interventional procedures, including starting IV's and injecting contrast if needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate PET scanners and related equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures and company protocols.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing exceptional patient care.
- Assist radiologists with imaging and interventional procedures, including starting IV's and injecting contrast if needed.
- Guide patients through the exam process, kindly talking them through each step and addressing their questions and concerns.
Requirements
- Current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification with State Nuclear Medicine License.
- Venipuncture certification/permit.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
