Job Description
The HR Generalist will provide comprehensive human resources support to our Mexico entity, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with federal and local labor laws.
This role will play a key part in fostering a positive and productive work environment, advising managers and supervisors on all Mexico HR practices, and collaborating with U.S.-based People Operations counterparts to share best practices and maintain consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and objectives.
- Manage the recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Provide expert guidance on labor-related issues, including employment contracts, termination, compensation, and benefits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, training records, and documentation.
- Handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.
- Oversee employee benefits administration, ensuring timely and accurate processing of benefits and deductions.
- Assist employees with Employee Self Service access, including password resets or information updates.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including wages, deductions, and benefits.
- Draft, renew, and maintain employment contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide support on payroll inquiries and issues.
- Enforce compliance with Mexican labor laws and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in human resources, preferably as a generalist.
- Strong integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Customer service focused, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
