Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently using the POS system.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and operating the cash register.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Assist guests with inquiries via phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Conduct product demos for guests when applicable, showcasing hotel offerings.
- Upsell rooms and services to enhance guest experience and maximize revenue.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role is required. Previous experience in a hotel setting is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products and services effectively.
- Basic math skills to ensure accurate cash transactions.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to assist guests in any way possible.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
