What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cabinet / Case Builder position at Rainier Industries?
Rainier Industries is a local manufacturing organization with a long, established history. We are looking for a Cabinet/Case Builder to join our team.
The Cabinet/Case Builder a skilled position within our Woodshop Department. This position is responsible for fabricating innovative and high-quality display products. These types of products include but are not limited to museum quality case work, mill work and finishing.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum of two years’ experience in laminating or equivalent finishing work required.
Minimum of two years’ experience in cabinetry building or casework construction.
Mechanical Aptitude and ability analyze and troubleshoot.
Comfortable with using shop equipment such as table saw, chop saw, routers, band saw, drill press and handheld tools such as sanders and nail / staple guns.
Able to read and build from shop drawings.
Strong attention to detail with focus on quality.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team to meet production schedules.
Good attendance, punctuality, and ability to work overtime/ weekends when needed.
Communicate and understand directions both verbally and written in English.
Confident mathematic skills and measurements.
This is an hourly position, eligible for overtime. The pay range is $25.00-$30.00 per hour depending on experience and skill level.
