Purpose of Position: The HR Administrator will contribute to the success of the HR Department by performing administrative and HR functions in relation to associate relations, recruiting and onboarding, HR related training, and support of all associates and company initiatives.
Essential Job Functions
- Serve as a liaison between associates and management, participate in associate engagement initiatives, and address all associate issues and concerns in timely manner
- Responsible for providing, maintaining, and updating various HR reports, lists, and systems as required or requested
- Conduct proper and thorough investigations and process applicable outcomes
- Familiar with benefits to answer associates’ questions and support open enrollment, assist with identifying and correcting payroll issues, support Open Enrollment including updates to system and ensure uploads are correct going in to the HRIS/Payroll System.
- Responsible for entire process of recruiting and onboarding of new hires and internal job changes, to include oversite of orientations and updating presentations as necessary
- Ensure associate evaluations (as applicable) for all departments completed in timely manner and update associate records accordingly
- Process leave management procedures per legal and company requirements
- Maintain job descriptions and update into HRIS as applicable
- Responsible for accurately processing monthly reports and End of Month reports as required. (Honda scorecard, Day 5 financial updates, Nami and employment/manpower monthly updates, etc.
- Responsible for event planning, associate and community involvement projects (to include Ads for local paper, contributions, etc.)
- Ensure timely and accurate updates in the HRIS system; (to include rate changes, new hires, terminates, benefits….)
- Support training for onboarding and module processes through Dayforce as needed
- Participate in audits and meetings as requested
- Support associate relations and serve a part of the HR team to ensure a positive associate experience
- Support HR team in events, activities or projects as needed
- Responsible to oversee corporate housing including maintaining leases, contracts and keys, scheduling and coordinating services, purchasing of needed items, and performing periodic checks on condition
- Assist Japanese associates and families as needed
- Other responsibilities as assigned
