AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISOR

$50,000-$150,000/Year Commission Bonus
Potential for relocation assistance available.

Paid Time Off:
- All employees earn 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked in compliance with the applicable state paid sick leave law.
- Following 36 months of continuous service, full-time employees will earn an additional 40 hours of RAG PTO on each anniversary date. Following 120 months of continuous service, full-time employees will earn 80 hours of RAG PTO on each anniversary date.
Job responsibilities include:
- Greet guests, listen to their concerns, and identify their vehicle service needs – Strive to enhance the customer experience
- Conduct vehicle walk arounds and identify necessary repairs or maintenance
- Provide customers with detailed explanations of recommended services and associated costs
- Upsell additional services or products based on customer needs and vehicle requirements
- Schedule appointments for service and repairs
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and tasks
- Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicles throughout the service process
- Process payments and handle financial transactions
- Other duties may be assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively explain technical information to non-technical customers
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for service writing and invoicing
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Prior experience in a dealership or automotive service center is preferred
