Job Title: ED Technician - Emergency Department
Location: 25, Springfield, VT 05156
Duration: 13-Week Contract (With possibility of extension)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $29.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $1,044.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $15.00
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $540.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $504.00
OR
For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $31.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $1,116.00
Job Description:
An Emergency Department (ED) Technician assists healthcare providers in delivering emergency medical care to patients. They perform clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Other Skills Required:
- Assist nurses and physicians with patient care procedures, including wound care, splinting, and EKGs
- Obtain and document vital signs, patient history, and medical information
- Perform phlebotomy, IV insertion, and specimen collection as needed
- Monitor patient status and report changes to healthcare providers
- Assist with patient transport and mobility support
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of emergency department equipment and supplies
- Perform CPR and other life-saving measures when necessary
- Provide emotional support and assistance to patients and families
- Follow hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Requirements:
- BLS (AHA)
- Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician – Required.
- Prior Travel Experience – Preferred.
