Summary:
The Broadband Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to customers experiencing issues with their broadband internet service. This position requires a strong understanding of broadband technology, troubleshooting skills, and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Answer customer phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner
- Diagnose and troubleshoot broadband internet issues
- Provide technical support to customers over the phone and via remote desktop
- Escalate complex issues to senior support staff
- Document customer interactions and support requests
- Maintain a knowledge base of broadband technology and troubleshooting procedures
- Stay up-to-date on the latest broadband technologies and trends
- Participate in training and development opportunities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
- 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role
- Strong understanding of broadband technology and troubleshooting
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Google Suite
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
