We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The Irrigation Technician will work closely with our landscaping team to support various projects and contribute to the overall health and beauty of gardens and lawns.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the landscaping team to design and build effective irrigation solutions tailored to specific garden or lawn needs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks related to irrigation installation and maintenance.
- Dig trenches for piping installation and perform necessary groundwork to support irrigation systems.
- Provide recommendations for landscape maintenance practices that enhance the longevity of irrigation systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, installations, and system evaluations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems and equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
