About the Role:
The Senior Construction Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in overseeing the estimating and preconstruction phases of new projects at Ramp Talent, ensuring accurate cost analysis and budget profitability. This position involves training and mentoring coordinators, fostering strong relationships with subcontractors, and reviewing project plans, schedules, and cost forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the training & coaching of Coordinators in their division.
- Oversight of estimating & preconstruction phases of new projects of various size and type.
- Collaboration with Project Directors to seek new construction projects.
- Analyzing changes to projects and services provided.
- Building a profitable budget through meticulous analysis.
- Fostering healthy working relationships with subcontractors.
- Providing detailed reports including breakdowns of project costs and forecasts of remaining costs.
- Creating and updating procedures for conducting cost analysis.
- Reviewing Plans & Specifications; interviewing Project Construction Manager and Superintendent and developing preliminary schedule.
- Incorporating necessary changes.
- Reviewing bidders' schedules and providing comments to Project Manager.
- Reviewing Contractor's schedule submittals and preparing an analysis report for the Project Manager assessing conformance with project requirements and completion dates.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Sound understanding of project specs, engineering, and architectural plans.
- Strong working relationships and knowledge of local subcontractors.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction production rates for primary commodities in commercial buildings including demolition, excavation, pile driving, paving, steel construction, formwork, concrete placement, underground utilities, and tenant improvements.
- Principles of construction cost estimating.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience required.
