EarthTrades (a Randall company) is currently seeking Asphalt Paver Operators & Crew Members to work on projects in the Orlando, FL area and throughout Central Florida. We need Foreman/Superintendent (10 years of experience), Loop Man, Roller Man, Operators (5 years of experience) & Laborers.
Requirements
The Paving Equipment Operator operates equipment used for applying asphalt, or other materials to road beds, parking lots, or airport runways and taxiways or equipment used for tamping gravel, dirt, or other materials includes asphalt paving machine operators, form tamper, tamping machines operators, and stone spreader operators.
The Paving Equipment Operator starts machine, engage clutch, and push and move levers to guide machine along forms or guidelines and to control the operation of machine attachments.

The Paving Equipment Operator inspects, clean, maintain and repair equipment, using mechanics hand tools, or report malfunctions to supervisors.

The Paving Equipment Operator machines to spread, smooth, level, or steel-reinforced stone, concrete, or asphalt on road beds.

The Paving Equipment Operator operates oil distributors, loaders, chip spreaders and dump trucks

The Paving Equipment Operator must have knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people The Paving Equipment Operator needs knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. The Paving Equipment Operator needs knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Asphalt Paving Crew Members must have experience working under the direction of the Operator to complete paving projects.
