Seeking a Sample Coordinator for a temporary position for a large clothing company.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for processing (opening, unboxing, unpacking) organizing, and tracking samples
- Conduct Quality Assurance of all incoming samples with product data against merchandise
- Partner with the merchandising team to obtain ETA’s (Estimated Time of Arrivals) and report data to requesting teams
- Manage sample logistics and work with partners to effectively communicate product prioritization
- Route and track samples according to order requirements and desired destinations
- Collaborates and works diligently to find solutions to sample challenges
- Adheres to schedule requirements and reports issues as needed to manage partner expectations
- Takes a keen approach to learning and researching products to enhance their ability to identify issues and inconsistencies in the merchandise
- Always mindful of the sample process and adds value by continuing to improve efficiency, streamlined procedures, and proactive communication
