JOB SUMMARY
We are currently looking for a Temporary Manager, Retail Operations to join a reputable fragrance brand located in Brooklyn, NY. As part of the Store Operations department, this role will support the rapid growth of bricks & mortars doors and omni business in the North America region (USA and Canada) through the daily operational enhancements and through new door openings. This is a temporary role starting early March lasting until approximately end of November 2025. The role will be operating off a hybrid schedule on-site so only local candidates will be considered.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Retail POS Data / System Management
- Oversees the communication with other departments and ensures timely new product launch & maintain the NA New Launch Tracker
- Conduct the testing and follow ups on POS updates and SKU coding with IT / PDM / SAP team on the accurate implementation
- Plan and execute the SRP updates through pre-screening of price data and SAP mapping
- Supervise the field teams through training on system upgrades and content updates on the Brand’s POS
- Escalate FSS & Department Stores IT tickets to ELC partners, ensuring a timely resolution
Operational Compliance Control
- Run monthly back-end reporting via Revel POS data, including Employee Discount reports, inventory management operational practices
New Door Opening Admin
- Manage retail accounting, POS account set up, L&E set up in Cransoft Mapping, opening order upload into POS and other technical back-end settings
Capex Budget Management
- Liaising with the Executive Director, manage coding/assigning the Counter Capex into project data
- Assist Executive Director with the Capital Accounting team, to ensure the timely submission of billback package to Retailers
Collateral and Indirect Procurement Management
- Support Executive Director in collateral and VM inventory management and forecasting for new launches
- Submit Plant PO to support new launches, new door openings, and new display options
- Monthly stock reconciliation of on-hand displays via SAP data
- Track and follow up on the POs in Ariba for collateral and VM, ensure timely payment
- Monthly supply ordering for retailer counter
- Business card ordering
- General Store Operations team support for FSS & Counters; ownership of maintenance inbox
- Cash pickup management / supply ordering
PROFILE
- 4 years of experience in retail operation or similar field, with strong skill background for data management and technical operation
- Team player (able to work with multiple depts., and tasks outside one’s scope)
- Strong sense of details
- Ability to adapt to the operation model and culture specific to Le Labo
- Multi-tasking
- Strong capability with working autonomously with third party vendors with full understanding of industry-specific terms
- Excellent inter-personal communication skill
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Experience in working store set up, operations a plus
- Strong work ethic, hardworking and able to work extended hours, on an ad-hoc basis
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid legal status for traveling within US and Canada
- Commute to Williamsburg, Brooklyn office 3 days a week; WFH on other dates
- Advance knowledge of Excel (Pivot Table, V-Lookup a must)
- Familiarity with Microsoft programs on Mac computer
- Physically capable to lift packages up to 20lb
- Available for visiting local warehouse and boutique as needed
