Main Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
- Manage ISO 14001 Environmental Standard Programs, policies, and documentation.
- Develop safety and environmental training material and training for all employees, including managers.
- Lead accident investigations, ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Manage worker compensation claims.
- Maintain facilities safety and environmental signage.
- Participate in the company's 5s program.
- Represent the organization in community or industry safety groups and programs.
- Warn of potential and actual safety hazards and prevent access to hazardous conditions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
