What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Specialist position at Randstad?
We have an exciting opportunity with a great client who is looking for a Quality Technician to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you will work both independently and collaboratively within the Supplier Quality Department, supporting the Parts and Accessories Distribution business.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining data related to supplier quality, leading the process for returning non-conforming parts to suppliers, managing the Supplier Quality lab, coordinating external 3rd party sorts, and other tasks to support Supplier Quality efforts.
You will work closely with a team of managers, engineers, supervisors, technicians, and production staff to manage and oversee assigned Supplier Quality projects and processes. Ideal candidates will have 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, particularly in quality or manufacturing operations, and be proficient in the use of inspection equipment, as well as conducting basic root cause analysis on quality defects.
Experience with PPAP, PFMEA, quality control plans, and ISO quality system processes is preferred.
