What are the responsibilities and job description for the RCI-SNFI-9889 Senior QC Analyst position at Rangam?
We are seeking a Senior Quality Control (QC) Analyst with strong hands-on experience in HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, and GMP lab practices. In this role, you will perform and lead quality control testing for in-process and final product samples, support method transfers, and drive continuous improvement in laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, and gel assays for in-process and final product testing
- Conduct statistical analysis and maintain accurate QC documentation
- Investigate OOS/OOT results and support root cause analysis
- Perform preventive maintenance on complex lab equipment (HPLC, GC systems)
- Author technical documents, SOPs, and method validation reports
- Train and mentor junior QC staff on laboratory procedures
- Lead method transfers from support teams to QC
- Recommend improvements to QC methods and workflows
- Ensure full compliance with cGMP and FDA regulatory standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners on technical matters
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences 4 years in a cGMP lab environment, OR
- Master's degree in Life Sciences 2 years in a cGMP lab environment
- Proficient in HPLC techniques
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and lab data systems
- Strong scientific writing and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Agilent GC/HPLC, UV-Vis, Gel Electrophoresis, and Wet Chemistry
- Experience with Empower software and lab data management systems
- Working knowledge of USP and global pharmacopeia standards
- Familiarity with method development and validation processes
