Client Delivery Manager

We are looking for a proactive and client-focused Client Delivery Manager to join our team at a growing software development agency. In this hybrid role, you will be the key point of contact for our clients, owning the delivery of software development projects from initiation to completion. Combining elements of project management, client engagement, and delivery oversight, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timelines, budgets, and expectations are met or exceeded while delivering exceptional value to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment on goals and maintaining clear, consistent communication.
  • Translate client business objectives into actionable project plans and deliverables.
  • Anticipate client needs, proactively address concerns, and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
• Project and Delivery Management:
  • Plan, execute, and oversee the delivery of multiple projects, ensuring scope, and timeline requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Track project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to ensure successful delivery.
• Strategic Oversight and Problem Solving:
  • Address challenges, resolve conflicts, and make decisions that balance client needs with internal capabilities.
  • Continuously improve processes and workflows to enhance delivery efficiency and quality.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on client satisfaction and project outcomes.
• Team Collaboration and Leadership:
  • Partner with technical leads, designers, and product managers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture within project teams.
  • Mentor junior team members in client-facing and delivery best practices.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience:
  • 3 years of experience in project management, delivery management, or a similar role within the software development industry.
  • Proven success in managing client relationships and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, or other software development methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage expectations and resolve conflicts.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar).
  • PMP, CSM, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications (You'll Earn Points If):

• A degree (more points) or background in technical roles such as Software Developer, QA Engineer, or similar
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and practices such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
