QuickBooks Bookkeeper (Part-Time)

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a part-time (15 to no more than 29 hours/week) QuickBooks accountant to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will manage our financial operations using QuickBooks Enterprise, handle payroll processing, and support our growing practice while learning from our retiring accountant.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Process bi-monthly payroll and monthly client billing cycles
· Manage accounts payable and receivable in QuickBooks Enterprise
· Handle collections follow-up and maintain client accounts
· Prepare financial reports for external CPA firm
· Track billable hours and project costs
· Maintain organized financial records and documentation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
· Professional communication skills
· Must pass background check
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· QuickBooks certification
· Experience in professional services billing
· Knowledge of land surveying or related professional services
· Capability to assist with contracts and phone coverage
· Collections experience
