Office Clerical/Accounts Payable

We are seeking an office assistant to help with our accounting department.
Responsibilities/duties but are not limited to:
- Accounts payable clerk complies and maintains accounts payable records
- Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks
- Distributes signed checks as required
- Answers all vendor inquires
- Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and company files
- Assists in monthly closings
- Process incoming and outgoing dealer trades for new inventory
- Provide administrative support to management, departments, and employees as needed
- Reconcile schedules as assigned
- Professional appearance and business etiquette
- Friendly, congenial attitude & good interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized with multi-tasking skills
Ideal/Preferred Qualifications/Experience
- Prior automotive dealership experience
- Reynolds & Reynolds DMS experience
- Quick & accurate 10 key pad entry
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data
- 2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience
Qualifications
- Ability to work in the USA
- Valid Driver’s License
- High school diploma
- Basic working knowledge of accounting
- Experience with document management
- Maintain professionalism towards customers and coworkers
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
