This hybrid role requires only two days per week in the office while offering the chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for processing monthly bills with precision, ensuring compliance with billing guidelines, client instructions, and firm policies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of legal billing experience, a proactive approach to client service, and strong organizational skills. You should be able to quickly learn and apply procedures, prioritize workflow, and adapt to various work styles while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with the ability to troubleshoot and provide practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Process complex legal bills and ensure compliance with billing policies Maintain accurate client and billing professional instructions Review client and matter setups for accuracy Edit and finalize pre-bills in accordance with firm guidelines Manage special fee arrangements and billing exceptions Utilize billing systems such as Aderant or Elite and handle e-billing processes Collaborate with attorneys and billing professionals to resolve billing issues
The ideal candidate will have experience with billing systems like Aderant or Elite, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and solid math skills.
