Position Title: HR Recruiter
Exempt Status: Exempt
Accountable To: HR Manager
Job Summary: The HR Recruiter is responsible for handling the recruiting process from end to end for all three Stanz – Troyer facilities. The recruiter will handle sourcing/interviewing candidates, creating job descriptions, delivering job offers, scheduling and managing pre-employment requirements, and initiate onboarding and orientation tasks. This includes working with managers and members of the organization to determine hiring needs, and filling job vacancies promptly. Open positions can vary from operational roles, Class A driving roles, clerical roles, Director level roles, and many more.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Candidate Sourcing
a. Rewrite job descriptions to fit current format and current pay/ benefits
b. Advertise job openings on career pages, job boards and social networks
c. Publicize job opportunities internally and contact employee referrals
d. Sift through candidates, invite candidates to apply, and manage communication with candidates
e. Conduct phone screenings, in person interviews, candidate evaluations and follow ups
2. Collaboration and Communication
a. Meet with managers to discuss departmental staffing requirements and recruiting strategy
b. Determine qualification criteria and pay scale for each position with management
c. Schedule in person interviews utilizing candidate availability, manager availability, and recruiter availability
d. Conduct in person interviews with managers and provide interview feedback
3. Recruiting Analysis
a. Track Key Performance Indicators of each department, i.e., turnover/ retention rate, to forecast future hiring needs
b. Set job post budgets and monitor to stay within departmental budget
c. Review and submit applicable invoices
d. Track cost to hire, time to fill, and other crucial KPI’s
4. Onboarding and Orientation
a. Follow all onboarding policies and protocol for new hire paperwork
b. Conduct background checks, communicate with candidate on completion status
c. Follow up with candidates on drug screen, physical, and lift evaluation appointments and results
d. Stay in consistent contact with new hires regarding pre-employment requirement status
e. Follow up with TPA to receive candidate results
f. Schedule 1st day orientation with new hires
g. Email managers, trainers, IT department, or whomever necessary to inform of candidate’s first day
h. Print and create new hire paperwork for orientation
i. Host new hire orientation from start to end
All other duties as assigned
