Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst with a strong background in accounting to join our team. The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in our financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling, and data analysis, enabling them to provide valuable insights that drive informed financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, examining financial data and trends to identify key insights and opportunities for improvement. Utilize analytical tools and methodologies to support decision-making processes.
· Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with various departments to develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts and budgets. Monitor performance against budgeted figures and provide recommendations for adjustments as needed.
· Accounting Expertise: Leverage a strong accounting background to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Assist with reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
· Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios and initiatives. This includes sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, and risk assessment.
· Cost Analysis: Analyze cost structures and cost drivers within the organization. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
· Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the company's financial position. Provide insights and recommendations based on this research.
· AdHocAnalysis:Respond to specific requests for financial analysis from different departments and management, providing detailed and actionable insights.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A CPA or CFA designation is a plus.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis and accounting.
· Strong proficiency in accounting principles and financial reporting.
· Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis.
· Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, ERP systems, and data visualization tools.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
