POSITION SUMMARY: This role supports the complete life cycle of software and hardware assets within RCB Bank. Responsibilities include tracking, deploying, maintaining, upgrading, and disposing of assets to maximize value and minimize costs while adhering to compliance regulations. Key tasks involve inventory management, software license compliance, cost optimization, and life cycle tracking.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manages IT software and hardware asset portfolio with respect to inventory control, risks, compliance, and performance objectives.
- Enters, supports, and maintains software and hardware asset records within the asset management platform.
- Responds to requests from end users, department heads, and management for specific software licensing and/or hardware information, following the workflow for approval.
- Procures all IT assets and properly tracks inventory.
- Answers technical questions and proposes IT asset purchases as requested.
- Supports implementation of IT hardware asset life cycle strategy.
- Manages and tracks the movement of IT assets to and from inventory and between locations.
- Maintains and manages inventory levels and prepares/presents IT health and asset reports to management, providing insight into trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Manages the removal and destruction of obsolete IT equipment, including destruction recordkeeping.
- Initiates equipment repair orders and propose replacement options for IT equipment.

- Minimum of three (3) years of Help Desk experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or other related field preferred
- Must have project management skill set with demonstrated ability to set priorities, schedule projects and meet deadlines
- Must have a strong commitment to providing superior customer service and teamwork
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge includes, but is not limited to networks, servers, PCs, printers, Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, and voice systems
- General understanding of gateways, routers, switches and AS400 operations
- Must be able to operate in a fast-paced, production environment and meet established deadlines
- The ability to understand the needs of the respective business units and to provide application and/or technical solutions to business problems is essential
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of the general hardware and software utilized within a business environment
- Organizational and change-management skills
- Must be able to isolate problem sources and work with internal system operations, application development and vendors to resolve problems
