Key Responsibilities
- Program Development & Implementation: Create and lead educational programs on senior living, dementia care, and community services; provide orientation and ongoing training for staff.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure staff meet clinical and regulatory standards; assist in policy development to improve care quality and safety.
- Evaluation & Reporting: Assess training effectiveness and provide reports to leadership on education outcomes.
- Clinical Education & Mentorship: Mentor staff in clinical decision-making and care coordination.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain training records and ensure compliance with continuing education requirements.
- RN License in New York State or another healthcare profession.
- Bachelor's in Nursing or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5 years of clinical experience in settings like hospitals or skilled nursing.
- Supervisory experience, plus teaching, mentoring, or precepting skills.
- Clinical education certification (e.g., CNE) is preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge and teaching ability.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in policy development and compliance.
