We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team at RDH Contracting, Inc. The ideal candidate will excel in managing daily operations, coordinating schedules, and providing exceptional administrative support to ensure smooth workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
- Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail
- Prepare reports and other documents as needed
- Maintain filing systems and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Help track benefits eligibility dates, such as health insurance and vacation/PTO
- Provide general support to staff and handle ad-hoc administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Ability to perform basic HR tasks, including assisting with onboarding paperwork, submitting new hires to the State of Tennessee, and related duties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Track and manage DOT requirements, including keeping up with expiration dates and medical certification renewal dates
- Prior experience in construction office setting is beneficial
