Accounts Receivable Specialist (Entry Level)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This entry-level role is perfect for someone with strong interpersonal skills and a foundational understanding of accounting principles who is eager to grow in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and timely.
- Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Communicate with customers to follow up on outstanding balances and provide excellent service.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements.
- Maintain and update customer records in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper billing and resolve any account issues.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role.
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
